Homemade cushions in the summerhouse, with thunder rumbling around the skies and just before the heavens opened! Last weekend I decided to stop procrastinating and actually get the sewing machine out, and use some of my stash of gorgeous vintage fabrics, I made 5 cushions! Very satisfying.

Wishing you all a lovely weekend! Some pastel prettiness for you, I had a rearrange on this mantelpiece this week, and spring candy pink blossom from my little tree looks so gorgeous in turquoise. The mirror was from a car boot, the vases and jugs from car boot and antique fairs…the one in the very middle was from when my road had a day where everyone could put a table outside and sell their bits and bobs, it was years ago! I bought the vase from a lady down the road, I love it.
And yes that’s me in the reflection trying to hide behind the vase 😂
