Hello everyone! I hope you are looking forward to the Easter weekend. It’s a picture heavy post today, my favourite kind!
As I’ve said before, working with small brands and businesses is something that I really love doing. Building up a long term working relationship is something really special, especially in this crazy fast paced world. Working with big brands on Instagram is a real honour and a challenge that I relish, but you rarely hear back from them again after the campaign is finished. I want to build up collaborations long term.
So, it was lovely to shoot again for The Cosy Shed, a Mother/Daughter team local to me, who grow their own flowers and foliage to use in their magically pretty, vintage inspired wreaths. I shot some product images for them last September (see them here!), and I was so excited when they asked me to shoot some woodland tea party images to advertise their wreath workshop. Right up my street, non?!
Taking inspiration from fairytales and the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, I suggested that we shoot in some woods close to my house, and we loaded up our cars with props and furniture. We had a fun hour snapping these whimsical scenes with pretty tea cups, flowers, and of course their beautiful wreaths.
As always, if you are interested in me shooting your product for you, you can drop me a line by clicking on the envelope at the top of this page. I would love to work with you!
In other news, if you are in Norwich I am running a photography and styling workshop with Wex Photography on Saturday at The Garage! I will be talking about my work in the photographic industry over the years, and will talk about the process of shooting for brands and magazines. I will be bringing lots of lovely props for you to play with too. It would be so lovely to meet you, tickets are available here!
Have a wonderful Easter weekend. I’ve given the summerhouse a little makeover, so I will take some snaps to share with you.
