That ‘Back To School’ Feeling!

Hello everyone!

We are squeezing the last drops of fun from the summer holidays, and this week we have travelled down to Dorset to camp with my parents at the Great Dorset Steam Fair.  The ‘Back to School’ feeling is heavy in the air, and though the children and I do not want the holidays to end, I am excited at the prospect of new ideas, inspirations and projects for the Autumn!  My first year as a freelance stylist/blogger/Jack of all trades has been absolutely amazing, and I now have a much stronger idea of where my strengths lie, and which direction I want to follow.

I am also celebrating finishing a top secret, very exciting project, that I cannot wait to share with you in October!  I will of course share it here, so do keep an eye out, as I hope you love it as much as I have enjoyed working on it!

For this week, we are very happy to be camping at the Great Dorset Steam Fair, a huge festival full of vintage vehicles, farm machinery, steam engines, funfairs, beautiful old carousels, as well as cider tents and cover bands!  I came as a child with my parents and didn’t really appreciate it back then, but we came last year and the children loved it, so here we are again.  I’m looking forward to a rummage amongst the junk markets tomorrow morning,  I will let you know if I find any treasures!
