New Bathroom Tiles! (Thank You British Ceramic Tile!)

Hello everyone!
Some of you may remember that back in May, I shared a sponsored post in collaboration with British Ceramic Tile. My brief was to create a moodboard for a tile makeover in my home, and you can see that post here.
(This is the ‘Before’ pic of my bath/shower.)

So, fast forward to today, and British Ceramic Tile gifted me the tiles of my choice, to bring my moodboard project to fruition. It has been been a bit of lengthy process getting the work done (you may remember, I removed the old tiles myself, and the plaster underneath was falling apart!). So, one plumber, one plasterer and one tiler later, and (finally) here is my gorgeous new bath/shower area.
In the end I went for these gorgeous aqua Laura Ashley tiles. I love the slightly retro, summery feel of the duck egg blue, and they look so clean and fresh. And as for the flowers? I have always wanted to fill my tub with blooms, and how amazing to be able to fill it with these snippings from the garden, at the very end of October.
Another exciting bathroom addition happening very soon, is an incredible vintage over mantel mirror that I bought at the car boot fair, that I went to with my dad in the summer. My mum is coming to visit for a few days, so she is kindly bringing it up in her car! I will share a snapshot with you over the next week.
I have just shot some images for a gorgeous local business, that makes the prettiest dried flower wreaths. I am going to share the photos at the end of this week, so do pop back – I’m so pleased with them, and it was a real honour to shoot them. I know it’s an investment for a small handmade business to use a photographer. Bringing their product to life in a set of beautiful images, is something that I am passionate about.
Also this week I am pulling my socks up, and adding a ‘subscribe’ button, so that you can follow this blog, and never miss a post. The tech side is something I struggle with, so please bear with me!
Enjoy the last couple of days of October!
