Beautiful Interiors at Sweetpea & Willow

Hello everyone!
What a crazy busy couple of weeks it’s been here! The end of terms looms next week, our summer holiday plans are coming together, and the hydrangeas are bursting into bloom. So many things to be excited about.
It’s a picture heavy post today, as a few weeks ago I had the pleasure of being invited to a gorgeous event hosted by Sweetpea & Willow, at their West London showroom. Sweetpea & Willow is the brainchild of Jacquie and Matt Dunton, who run their beautiful home interiors company with love and passion. The heart of Sweetpea & Willow is ornate opulence, with a good sprinkling of sleek, contemporary design. Perfect for creating a gorgeously eclectic look for the home. I was lucky enough to meet the lovely Jacquie at the Amara Interior Blog awards last Autumn. We had a giggle over some glasses of fizz before her team went on to win the Best Organisation Blog category. We’ve stayed in touch ever since!
A couple of months ago, Jacquie asked if I would do the artwork and photography for their invitation for the Sweetpea & Willow summer blogger event. Of course I jumped at the chance. (Check out the invitation below! I am now taking on commissions to photograph Scrabble flatlays for your brand or home, so drop me a line if you’re interested!)
I had such a brilliant afternoon at the event, along with some other lovely interior bloggers. We drank bubbles served from a little Prosecco van and ate freshly cooked pizzas. We even had ice cream from a retro ice cream van! I spent a while wandering around their beautiful showroom, a maze of sumptuously upholstered furniture, glistening chandeliers and velvet cushions. Elegant French style furniture and mirrors, Art Deco opulence or Studio 54 glamour blend together seamlessly, so there is something for every home. Not only that, but you can order bespoke pieces too. I had fun snapping away and it was hard to edit my images down to this selection! The chandeliers were among my favourite pieces, check out the divine draped chain chandelier above.
You can see more pictures from the Sweetpea & Willow event over on their gorgeous blog.
Thank you so much Jacquie and Matt for such a brilliant afternoon!
In other news, my hydrangeas are finally in bloom, so I have taken some snaps to share with you this week. I also have a post up my sleeve about the wonderful mini workshop I had round my house yesterday with a couple of lovely friends, learning how to dye fabrics with flowers! Tomorrow I am off to the Mollie Makes Handmade Awards, plus it’s also my birthday. I’m really looking forward to a day of inspiration and filling my camera roll!
Have a gorgeous Sunday folks!

Your such a talent and so pleased you are now going to commision your artwork as you have the most incredisble eye for detail and so unique. I just found your lovely blog by happy accident and wanted to tell you how much joy it brings! Each of your pictures is like a delicious bite in a visual feast, and I so enjoy savoring them! So often shabby chic can get overwhelming, but your work is beautifully curated and soothing. Thank you for sharing your glorious talent and happy belated birthday from across the pond!
Amanda, you have no idea how happy this makes me feel, thank you so much for your lovely comment! It brings me such joy to know that people love my pictures and the stories I tell, it makes it all worthwhile. Thank you x
