Beautiful Nkuku Decorations From Amara

(I was gifted the items in this post, all views are my own!)

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.

As I am sat writing this, the rain is pouring and it’s so gloomy, which makes these pictures pretty perfect for today!  Hurrah for flickering candlelight.

The lovely folks at Amara got in touch, and asked if they could gift me some decorations to style up, a challenge which of course I couldn’t refuse.  Amongst their huge range of beautiful decorations to suit every taste, they sell a selection of Nkuku designs.  I’ve loved Nkuku since seeing their stand at Top Drawer back in September, and loved the slightly antique look of the mercury glass effect baubles, which embellished an entire wall on their stand.

I fell in love with their Tiny Kiko frames so they were first on my wishlist.  There’s something slightly magical about these little glass lockets, perfect for filling with whatever takes your fancy.  A miniature family portrait, a handwritten name as a place marker at your festive table, dried petals.  I decided to go with a dried hydrangea petal, because I wanted to bring a touch of nature inside.  I might hang these from a branch to decorate a wall in the living room, along with some of my handmade paper decorations (I still need to share those with you!).

Secondly, I chose these silvered antique looking baubles, which you can never have too many of in my opinion.  Perfect for piling into a rustic wooden bowl, or for decorating your table centrepiece with greenery and fairy lights as I have done here.  It appears that these ones have sold out, but these are equally gorgeous.

I am now off to brave my attic to find all our Christmas decorations, so we can finally put the tree up.  I have lots of posts up my sleeve for this week so please do pop back for lots more festive sparkle!  As always, if you love an image, please do pin in to Pinterest (hover over each picture and there is a Pin it button!), as it helps to get this little blog out there in to the big wide world.  Or you can share this post however you like, it would just be wonderful to get it out to lots of lovely new people!

Just in case you missed my last post, see how you can make easy vintage style snow globes here!

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!
