Beautiful Botanical Makeover Ideas With Homesense

(This is a sponsored post in collaboration with Homesense. All views are my own!)
Hello there!
It’s amazing the difference a bit of sunshine makes. Suddenly our outdoors spaces spring to life again, and it’s time to get green fingered and creative. Time to plan a mini makeover to make an peaceful oasis to come home to. No matter how big or small your garden is, whether you have a huge space to play with or just a window ledge, it’s easy to get creative and make your own little plant paradise. I have collaborated with Homesense to give you some gorgeously fresh ideas for decorating your botanical space, whether it’s inside or out!
Homesense is part of the TK Maxx family, and has long been a favourite of mine for homewares. I love that I can walk into a store and not know what I’m going to come out with! It’s my first port of call for buying props for shoots. I adore their ever evolving selection of garden accessories, cushions, candles, furniture and crockery. On top of all this, they often have savings of up to 60% off the RRP, which means I can find gorgeous homewares for less.
So, scroll down for my top tips for bringing a little magic to your garden!

Alfresco Dining
There’s nothing lovelier than being able to dine outside as the sun goes down! Bring a touch of magic to your table by filling small vessels with tiny succulents. I found these beautiful bowls in my favourite colours in the tableware aisle. You can plant succulents in virtually anything, so get creative. Put a good layer of gravel in the bottom of your bowl for drainage, and fill with gritty compost, before planting your succulent. Place a layer of gravel around the top of your plant, and hey presto! I used my remaining mini ceramic bowls to put tea lights in for the perfect dinner table glow.

Pretty Vintage Botanical Style
I love this wall planter with it’s twirly metal details and it’s vintage vibe. Perfect for filling with vibrant violas, and brilliant for small garden spaces as it brightens up an empty wall space! I lined mine with mossy greenery from my garden, before planting with my violas. It would also look gorgeous with some pretty trailing ivy planted in it, and the metal basket I found in store would look beautiful planted with lavender.

Botanical Shelves
I love these cute shelves so much. Perfect for making a little botanical wall display inside if you don’t have any garden space at all. Indoor plants are experiencing a huge comeback, and the botanical trend is here to stay. Some of my favourite indoor plants are string of hearts (seen here trailing down), money plants and string of pearls. Place a different one on each shelf and display with some of your favourite mementoes. I’ve styled my little shelves up with some of my favourite vintage little books and cotton reels!

Hanging Florals
These lanterns (in my favourite colours!) would of course look really beautiful hanging in a tree, glowing with tea lights. But I decided to try something a little different, and to hang some pretty blooms in mine. A quirky alternative to a vase and a brilliant way to add some floral prettiness if you don’t have a garden. I placed a clean jar in my lanterns first, so I could put a little water in the bottom for my blooms. These would look gorgeous hanging in a window, or maybe even on a plain wall with some pretty botanical prints!
