My farmhouse dining table, whilst it sat beautifully at my old house, never quite sat right in my dining room here. First of all, this is not a farmhouse. Not only that, but the proportions were not quite right - it was too long, and very high.

Sometimes the more faded and worn things are, the lovelier they are. A pretty vintage quilt and some outgrown party shoes brighten up a corner in my attic, and pretty much sum up one of my favourite colour palettes - dusky pink, nude and vintage gold.
