Day two of my 'blog every day for a week' challenge that I've set myself, and here are some snaps of the summerhouse, peeking through the apple tree.
One of my most favourite things that I did when I moved to this house, was to invest in a summerhouse/she-shed. Our summerhouse has given us so much pleasure, not only in the beginning when I effectively had another room to decorate and dress, but also for nearly four summers.
It has been an excellent summer of treasure hunting for me. One of my prettiest finds was this chandelier which cost me £3. Now as you can tell, the condition is somewhat poor, and it would need restoring and re-wiring to make it a functioning light fitting again. Will I do that? Probably not.
I got up super early on Sunday to go to the car boot fair, and it was so worth it, as I came home with bags stuffed full of treasure.
This beautiful Vernon Ward print was loitering around at the back of the summerhouse. I absolutely love the work of Vernon Ward, I have one of his swan prints in my bathroom.
