Cocktail Fun With LSA International Glass

(Glassware gifted to me by LSA, all views my own.)

Hello everyone!

I am having such a lovely week this week, getting my creative mojo back in full swing.  Which just goes to prove, that if you’re up to your eyes in it, creativity is one of the first things that gets lost by the wayside.  I have had time this week to learn, listen to podcasts, pin on Pinterest, and take part in hashtag projects.  My notepad his covered in notes, ideas and projects.  I’m moving outside my comfort zone with my photography and have some lovely shots to share with you over the next few days.  In short, I needed my creative dip in order to come bouncing back with renewed vigour and passion.

One of the little shoots I had fun setting up and styling this week was this one, with these beautiful cocktail glasses that LSA International kindly sent to me.  I am a bit of a cocktail queen, and sophisticated glassware is a weakness of mine, so it had to be done!  These are part of LSA International’s new Gin Collection glassware, and they also sent me some gorgeous recipes rustled up by a master mixologist.  (I had a rummage through my cupboards, and the lack of gin meant that I came up with a vodka and blackberry/fig syrup/tonic water creation, which I shall name Blackberry Bush!  I had some blackberries in the freezer picked by the children last year which made the perfect addition to my vignette.)  I think you’re far better off trying one of these recipes though, as I am no mixologist!

G & Tea
Ingredients (per serving):
40ml gin
20ml cranberry juice
15ml apple juice
25ml Earl Grey tea, cooled
A spoon of black cherry jam

Garnish: 2 raspberries and an apple fan

Combine all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker and top up with ice. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Strain and serve in the GIN cocktail glass. Garnish with two raspberries and an apple fan.

Summer Breeze

Ingredients (per serving):
40ml gin
15ml lavender syrup
10ml Maraschino liqueur
15ml fresh lemon juice

Garnish: 1 or 2 fresh lavender sprigs

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and top up with ice. Shake for 10 seconds. Double strain and serve in the GIN coupe. Garnish with a sprig of fresh lavender.

Summer Breeze is on my hit list, definitely got to try that one!  You can find LSA International’s Gin Collection glassware here, the glasses I’ve used here are the coupe and cocktail glass.

Enjoy your day!
