An Eclectic Table With Anthropologie

Hello everyone!

My first collaboration of 2018, and it’s a beauty!  As you know, I’m very fussy about what brands and products I share with you here.  Although vintage treasures mainly make up the backbone of my home, I do also mix modern stuff in amongst it for a truly eclectic feel.  I’m a magpie and I love pretty things!

Anthropologie has always been one of those really special shops, that I only get to visit once or twice a year.  I love the experience.  The beautiful window displays, the living wall of plants that is a feature in the Regent Street store, and the gorgeous displays of homewares and colourful china on reclaimed tables and cabinets.  It’s all a feast for the eyes.

So it was like Christmas had come early when I was asked to choose some pieces to be gifted to me, to brighten up my table for January.  I already own some of the Old Havana tableware (so special to me, as it was a gift from my work friends when I left my job at the agency to go freelance!).  That colour is just divine, I feel like it’s my signature shade of green at home.  I also fancied some boho, floral textiles, that can brighten my table up in these cosier months but that will also look wonderful for summer al fresco dining!  (That seems so far away at the moment!)  Don’t be afraid to mix up patterns and colours.  Your table no longer has to be matchy matchy, you can have fun layering up different designs, colours and styles for a truly relaxed, eclectic vibe.

So if you fancy shopping the look, here’s what I chose for my table –

Old Havana Cake Stand

Old Havana Dinner Plate

Old Havana Bowl

Old Havana Mug

Point Duchesse Pitcher

With A Twist Teacup

Dorienne Table Runner

Liberty For Anthropologie Tea Towel Set

On another note, it’s just under a month until my next styling and photography workshop, which will be in my hometown of Norwich!  I’m making some beautiful painted backdrops this weekend to bring along, and as always I’ll be loading my car up with lots of gorgeous vintage treasures for our attendees to play with and photograph.  I’m really looking forward to inspiring, and being inspired! Have a wonderful weekend – I am planning to send out a newsletter over the weekend, so do sign up if you haven’t already!
