A Corner Of My Dining Room

Hello everyone! Have you had a wonderful weekend?
I had dear friends round for supper last night. Supper, wine, and music! We had a wonderful evening, so today has been a slow one here, all three of us have been pottering and it has been absolutely perfect. Whilst the dining room looked pretty, I took these snaps for you, as it’s been a while since I’ve shared any interior snaps. It’s all I did when I first started blogging, and I need to do it more often.
For some reason I’ve felt ultra inspired today, which is strange as I’ve actually felt pretty jaded all day! Isn’t it funny how creativity and ideas come and go in surges? I’ve even taken part in Instagram’s Weekend Hashtag Project, which is a brilliant challenge to take part in every weekend; it’s like having a mini art project to think about. They have a new theme every week, and this weekend it’s #whpfindthelight. I imagined that golden light would be pouring in through the windows at about 4pm, and that I would be able to capture some beautiful shadows. Instead, the light was flat and grey. So I made my own light with candles and fairy lights! You can see my entry here in my gallery.
This week I am embarking on a new project, the redecoration of my daughter’s bedroom. I’ve been fortunate to have been sponsored by two incredible brands, and have been gifted some products for the redecoration. It’s going to take me while to complete the makeover, but I’ll be blogging about it, and you are going to love it! As I mentioned in my last post, I am also taking part in an online course, about making beautiful photographic backdrops. So it’s a week of painting overalls for me, and I’m very much looking forward to getting stuck in!
I’ll be back on Tuesday with some exciting news about some incredible new art works by my lovely friend the incredible Jessica Zoob, so please do pop back!
