Dahlias and Setting Plaster Pink

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.

My dahlias are incredible at the moment – they are furiously blooming away in their final blaze of glory before the frosts arrive!  I rescued these beauties from the rain the other day, and I shall rescue some more today – it’s pretty gloomy here in Norfolk.

I was given this sample of Farrow & Ball Setting Plaster in my goody bag when I went to the Red Magazine event a few weeks ago.  Isn’t it the most beautiful shade of pink?  It reminds me of the leather ballet shoes my mum bought for me when I was a girl.  I think the desk in my bedroom would look glorious in this colour, maybe even the wall behind my bed…I think I’m ready to start adding some colour to my walls now.  I’ve been pinning some gorgeous images on Pinterest this week of interiors painted in dark, opulent colours, and I think my hallway might be the first on the list to be given a makeover.  Check out my Dark Decor board and my Colour Love board if you’re lacking some colour inspiration!

Today we are pottering and playing whilst listening to music, then I shall make us a roast dinner.  The perfect Sunday.  I hope you all have a lovely day!
