Decorative Home & Salvage Show

Hello everyone!
Back in September I was invited by my friend Alice Roberton, to go and do a little workshop at the Arthur Swallow Decorative Home And Salvage Show, up at Ripley Castle. I fancied having a mooch around the fair (I went to their show at Newark a couple of years ago), so I loaded up some props into my car (you can see some of them in the bottom two pics), and off I went.
I obviously wasn’t firing on all cylinders, because it was only after my workshop and just when I set off to explore the show and take some photos, that I realised that my little camera had run out of battery. Hence I only got a few photos! I made it as far as Brocante Decorative (Find Lucy here on Instagram), where I took a few snaps before my battery conked out. Anyway, I can assure you that the rest of the fair was just as beautiful. You can pick up some really unique decorative reclaimed/vintage homewares, and I came home with vintage green milk bottles, wallpaper, and my Vernon Ward print which is now in my bedroom.
Which is your favourite antique fair/brocante/thrift fair? I’d love to hear!
