Decorative Vintage Styling Workshop – Eridge

Hello everyone, I hope you have had/are having a wonderful weekend!
A few weeks ago, I made the long drive down to East Sussex for mine and Katie’s third Decorative Vintage Styling Workshop. For those of you that are new to my blog, I now run workshops with fellow blogger and stylist Katie.
The lovely thing about the workshop being at Eridge, was that we were able to stay with my parents, who live about half an hour away from the workshop venue. Thank you Mum and Dad!
We knew the venue was going to be pretty, but it was such a joy to turn up and to see just how beautiful it was, with views of rolling hills behind it. Plus the weather was absolutely perfect, and I had managed to find peonies to bring for our attendees to play with! We had tea outside before retreating from the heat into the hall, where we talked about using flowers in vignettes, the basics of flatlay photography, and how you can style vintage vessels and props beautifully for a business or for pleasure.
I know I say this every time we hold a workshop, but it really is true – I learn just as much as our attendees, and am so inspired by the people we meet. I feel so lucky to be able to talk about the things I’m passionate about, and to share my creativity with others.
We loved the venue so much that we have it booked it again for next June!
Saturday June 16th 2018 from 11am – 3.00pm
Eridge Village Hall, Eridge Green, Tunbridge Wells
I am also delighted to announce that our next Decorative Vintage Styling Workshop will be in Bristol!
Saturday October 21st 2017 from 11am – 3.00pm
Floating Harbour Studios, Bristol
I’m so excited about Bristol as I’ve never been, so I’m going to make a weekend of it – if an of you lovely readers have any recommendations of places to stay, places to photograph etc, then please do leave a comment!
This week I hope to share with you a little allotment update (we came home with freshly picked veg today!), and a post about the amazing natural dye mini workshop I had round my house last weekend, so please do pop back!
