Decorative Vintage Styling Workshop – Derby

Hello everyone, I hope you are all looking forward to the Easter break!

It’s a picture heavy post today, as I’m sharing these snaps I took at our Decorative Vintage Styling Workshop in Derby last Saturday.  It was so difficult to narrow them down, as the location was filled lots of gorgeous natural light which I took full advantage of, and I’m so happy with the images I took (with my new Olympus Pen Camera – let me know if you fancy a review?).  I loved getting some action shots, with lots of hands in frame too.  It was such a wonderful day, and because we had plenty of space and light, our lovely attendees were really able to get creative.  Within the first hour, they were putting together some lovely styled surfaces and flatlays, and taking some beautiful photographs.  Katie and I brought some pretty Easter props this time, and we even had some blossom to play with too.  It was such an inspiring day, and we really love meeting new people and coaxing their inner creative soul out!  In just a few hours their skills blossomed before our eyes.

So, Katie and I are are delighted to announce our next workshop, and we’re taking our vintage props down south next!

Isn’t it a beautiful hall?  We are so looking forward to it!  Come and join us for a relaxed, inspiring day of playing with pretty props and flowers, whilst improving (or discovering!) your styling skills.

We are staying at my parent’s house for the next few days, and it’s so lovely to be in the countryside amongst the fields, blossom trees and lambs!

Hi Emma, ah thank you so much! Yes I got the Pen, but I went for the E just because of budget! But I did get the portrait lens as well at the kit lens, and I’m loving it! xxx

    Hello!
Hope you had a lovely time in our city of Derby! Enjoy your PEN, I’ve the micro lens adapter which is rather good as tested by the lovely Emily at MakeLight and if she says it’s good it’s worth a purchase! Sam x
