Hello everyone

How are you doing?  It’s day 23 (I think?) of lockdown here in the UK.  Before I write anymore, I just want to say that I am thinking of all the folks on the frontline in the hospitals, all the folks working in the shops and behind the scenes keeping things going…and obviously my thoughts are with anyone who is suffering at this time in the world.

We did some pottering in the garden over the weekend, and repotted up all our succulents.  Many had little babies which we put in pots, and it all looks so neat and satisfying now!  I am also really appreciating my little weeping blossom tree, which my mum gave me many years ago.  I dug it up and brought it with me the I moved here, and it was probably about 6ft tall then.  It’s now huge!  It’s so fleeting, and I know that I will only be able to appreciate the little pink fluffy tutus for a while longer.

The new Kanzan cherry blossom tree I planted a couple of weeks back seems to be doing well, although there is no blossom on it this year.  I am sad to miss all the glorious blossom in Norwich city centre, which I had planned to shoot with some early morning sunshine…so I will have to make do with looking at last years’ pics for now!

My wallpapering adventure has been going really well, but I have now hit a bit of a stumbling block, as I have a very old radiator that needs replacing, and also needs to come off the wall so I can wallpaper behind it.  That will have to wait for now, but I will take some pics of my progress so far for you.  It’s very ditzy and pink floral, but I love it!

Great pics. Where I live we have to wait a few more weeks for the trees to blossom so I’m glad to enjoy yours.
