Happy Easter!

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to wish you all a very Happy Easter dear readers.  We are having a really lovely time at my parents – yesterday I went to see my friend Sonia who owns The Old Haberdashery in Ticehurst.  It was so lovely to catch up with her, and I came away with some very pretty purchases which I’ll share with you soon.  Today we are taking the children for an Easter Egg hunt, then we will drive to Rye for a wander through the cobbled streets.  If it stays dry, I’ll post some clips in my Instagram stories, so do come and follow along!

I painted these eggs we blew (well, I blew whilst the children laughed at my crimson face!) with gifted Chalk Paints by Annie Sloan, and I’m loving their candy pastel hues.  I mixed the pink myself using Old White and Emperor’s Silk, and I’m rather in love with it.
