Hello April!

Hello everyone!

How are you doing, I hope you’re all safe and well?  Day 9 of lockdown today, and here we are in April…

I have nothing much to report here, we are well and still getting used to this new way of life.  I felt sad this morning as I had some news about some of my regular work (gradually my little business seems to be crumbling to dust, as I know millions of others are experiencing), but I have to focus and just be grateful that we are well and healthy.  My thoughts are still very much with all the health workers on the front line battling this virus.

Something that did bring me joy today however, was that my Kanzan cherry blossom tree arrived this morning, and it’s planted, fed and watered.  I would take a photo but there’s not actually a lot to show you right now – it’s basically a 6-7ft stick with some shoots at the top!  But I’m excited to see it grow this year, and to see it blossom in years to come.
