Luscious Lilacs

Hello everyone!
I hope you are having a lovely weekend?
It’s that time of year here where things get busy and I have to ‘make hay whilst the sun shines’. My bread and butter work as a stylist and photographic assistant gets busy, due to the longer daylight hours. I always love this time of year as I get to go out and about, and work with other people on some of the bigger shoots I work on. As a freelancer, I appreciate the solitary nature of working alone, but I always love the buzz of being on a shoot!
Anyway, today I am sharing with you the glorious lilac cut from my very own little garden. I have one lilac tree which I bought from my local budget supermarket four years ago for about £5. It was basically a stick! But now it is a good 10ft tall, and this is the first year I have been able to cut a good swathe of blooms from it. I also have one in a pot which I got last year, and that one is more pinky in colour. They have both given me so much pleasure over the last few weeks as I look out at my little garden.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend folks!

These flowers are beautiful! I will have to invest in a lilac tree! I can’t believe how cheap you can pick them up for! xxx
