Pastel Beach Huts and Houses in Southwold

Hello everyone, I hope you had a lovely weekend!
Last week I took the children to Southwold in Suffolk for some sea air and to enjoy some late October sunshine. We took a wander along the beach, admired the beautiful beach huts, hunted for sea glass, and had the best fish and chips before having a rummage in the charity shops. I took these snaps on my phone, and whilst the changing seasons dictate that I should be photographing more earthy tones, I couldn’t resist sharing these pastel pretties with you.
The house is in chaos at the moment, as a week ago my son’s bedroom ceiling decided it no longer fancied being attached to the rafters and made a bid for freedom. I’m so grateful he wasn’t in there at the time, and the mess was unbelievable. I currently have two plasterers ripping out the entire ceiling so they can board and re-plaster it. Whilst they’re at it, they’re also skimming a couple of walls in there that were never perfect, and I will have to re-decorate his room this weekend. Old houses eh! It’s been a very long time since I shared any pictures of his room though, which is rather lovely, so I look forward to sharing that with you when it’s all finished!
I hope you have a suitably spooky Halloween tonight!
