A Postcard from Cala Galdana

Hello everyone!

Greetings from Menorca!  Well technically it’s greetings from sunny Norwich, as we arrived home last night.  But I wanted to just share a few snapshots with you.  To share a little bit of the calm and beautiful scenery we’ve been lucky enough to enjoy over the last week.  (As much as I love flowers and all things pretty, I do love the sight of boats on a mirrored sea, against a beautiful sunset!)  They may not be the best photographs as it was all about making memories, but I hope these give some idea of the beauty in our resort.  I also have a camera roll full of pictures of the children which I will treasure forever.

I highly recommend Cala Galdana as a resort.  It’s lively yet very family friendly, and the white sand and turquoise sea sits in a shallow cove, perfect for younger children.  Our hotel had the most wonderful view of the cove, yet it was only a ten minute walk down the hill to the beach.  We spent most of the week lounging around the pool, reading (I read four books!  More than I’ve probably read in the last five years…) and going down to the beach.  I really needed that break, completely away from my laptop and with minimal scrolling on social media.  I now feel revived and ready to enjoy the last week of the summer holidays with the children, before rolling my sleeves up for an inspiring September.

I have lots of posts up my sleeve, and now that my August of travelling all over the place has come to an end, I’m looking forward to sharing them with you.  Thank you so much to those of you who have kindly voted for my blog in the Interior Blog Awards, Best Use Of Photography category, IO really appreciate it.

Have a lovely weekend!

Tamsyn x
