Pretty Flatlay Photography

Hello everyone!

I hope you are having a good week so far.  Happy International Women’s Day to each and every one of you.  The world has a long way to go still, but let us celebrate and encourage strong, independent women everywhere.

On Saturday the children and I spent an hour at the allotment, where we tentatively started clearing the wilderness.  It’s pretty amazing what you can do in an hour with just one pair of secateurs and a bit of determination!  We can now see the space we are dealing with a little better, and in a few weeks my parents are coming to help move it on a bit further (thank you Mum and Dad!).  My Sarah Raven dahlia bulbs have arrived, so I need to get those started off in some big pots.  Exciting!

I took these snaps a couple of weeks ago, after I bought these amazing vinyl backdrops from the lovely Capture By Lucy, a brilliant blogger who now produces these gorgeous backdrops for bloggers, photographers, Instagrammers, crafters and all creative types!  They are going to be perfect for taking with me on shoots and creating pretty flatlays here at home.

Norwich Fashion Week kicks off tomorrow, which I help on every year, and I’m so excited!  I will try to post some behind the scenes snaps on my Instagram Stories, so pop over and take a look.  I just need to choose my outfit…!
