Books in Rainbow Hues in my Dining Room

Hello everyone!
I wanted to share some snaps with you today of my new book arrangement in the old range in my dining room. I picked up a lot of these green and turquoise books recently at the car boot hair, and I had the idea that I’d fill the whole space with just those colours. But I had a play, and it’s ended up a little more rainbow hued! Which I’m perfectly happy with. It makes me smile every time I look at it. I also gave the mirror a lick of white paint just to make the colours of the books stand out more.
In the garden…
Over at the allotment we have sown some beetroot seeds and broad beans. I’ve sown some Porcelain Doll pumpkin seeds, a pinky/pale apricot coloured pumpkin. I’ve also sown Baby Boo, which is an ornamental mini white pumpkin. My dahlias are all in pots taking up half the garden! Many are already looking bushy and healthy. I need to start preparing the ground for them both here in the front garden, and at the allotment. I’m excited to share them with you when they bloom! Here are some of my blooms from last summer.
In case you missed it last Friday, I styled up a dreamy woodland al fresco supper amongst the cow parsley, with items gifted by Anthropologie. Do pop over and take a look, I absolutely loved shooting it!
This week I am enjoying the scent from my little lilac tree in my garden, and I have loved throwing the windows open for a good spring clean. I love this time of year so much, I want to savour every second. I’ve also been gifted some gorgeous plants and accessories for a garden makeover which I’m shooting this week, so it’s all go on the garden front!
have a wonderful day everyone!
