Shoot For Vintage Stagers

Hello everyone!
I hope you had a lovely weekend?
I’m so excited to start sharing with you today some photos I took during the summer for Vintage Stagers. Vintage Stagers is an event hire company just started up by my lovely friend Collette Hanlon. I have been shooting blog posts for Collette since I went freelance a few years ago, so I was over the moon when she asked me to shoot for her new venture.
Beautiful vintage furniture…
Our first shoot was back in July, on a balmy summer day at an incredible, huge barn. Needless to say, I was in my element shooting these gorgeous pieces! Styled by Laura and Sophie, with flowers by Lisa Dew, we had a wonderfully creative and collaborative afternoon. Old French shutters, velvet sofas, pretty vintage chairs and tables, so many beautiful things that are all available to hire as various packages for all types of events. I’m looking forward to shooting for them again in a few weeks!
October has been a quiet month for me, and it has been very welcome, especially as my November is looking super busy with lots of nights away for work. I’ve been having an epic clear out, which is something I find very hard to do, as I’m very much a ‘just in case’ person! I keep all manner of useless items just in case the kids suddenly need them for a school craft project etc, so I have to be quite stern with myself, and ask if it’s really necessary to keep hold of it. Just this morning I dropped off a big bag of lovely cuddly toys that my son cleared out the other day (thankfully he still held on to a whole boxful, otherwise my heart may have cracked a little!)
Wishing you all a wonderful new week!
