Snapshots Of Autumn

Hello everyone!
I have never appreciated Autumn as much as I am at the moment. I have never cared that much for rustling through leaves, and the ember shades they turn. Rambling vines, red against flint walls. This season is so short, and just as I’ve come to appreciate the beauty that nature brings us, the rain and the mist has arrived! Here are some of my favourite Autumn inspired snaps from the last few weeks, a mix of pictures I’ve posted on my Instagram, and things I have seen on my meanderings around Norwich.
Autumnal snapshots…
Pumpkins on display at Felbrigg Hall last Sunday. The weather was absolutely divine, so we went for a walk, and as we are now members, we went for a wander through the house again. this place is one my favourite, my inspiring places at the moment.
An autumnal still life with my Limelight hydrangeas.
Fiery leaves!
Still life with my beloved blue crockery
Hydrangeas snipped from the garden. I posted this on Instagram on Sunday, and it spread like wildfire, gathering 2.5k likes. I spent no time on it whatsoever, typical huh!!
The beautiful old mosaic floor in the reception at Norwich University of the Arts. I was a guest lecturer there last week, speaking to Fashion Communication students about my experiences, and how I’ve got to where I am today. Which was pretty cool!
Cup of tea. Because tea is one of my favourite things!
Wreath making table. The mess is prettier than the wreath itself!
Fading hydrangeas. Just because!
Now I’m very excited, because on Monday, I am launching a giveaway! Something awesome is up for grabs, so please do pop back Monday at noon to see what is is. It’s only my second giveaway (The first was was a Jessica Zoob print, absolutely amazing!), and I’m only ever going to collaborate with brands offering beautiful prizes. I think you will like this one!
Don’t forget that the festive issue Mollie Makes is now out in the shops, and with it you get the calendar that I shot and styled for them! Do let me know if you already have it!
Also on the shelves is Issue 20 of Reclaim Magazine with my second ‘Note From A Stylist’ feature, where I show you how to style with a rustic twist! I am feeling so lucky at the moment to have my work published in these magazines…I sometimes have to pinch myself to believe it’s real!
I’m reading off to Bristol at silly o’ clock in the morning for our Decorative Vintage Styling Workshop – I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!
