Embroidered Cushions Amongst The Cow Parsley…

Hello everyone, I hope your week is going well!

I’m so excited to share these product photographs I shot back in May, when the grass was still lush and the cow parsley was at it’s most magical.  These beautiful hand embroidered cushions are by Ruth Eaton, and it was so much fun to think outside of the box a little.  Rather than just shooting them at home, we decided it would be fun to get outside, and shoot them against a backdrop of nature.

This little glade ten minutes from my house, was the perfect location.  In the month of May, it transforms into the prettiest woodland area, bursting with cow parsley and forget-me-nots.  Sometimes nature makes for the best backdrop don’t you think?  Do check out Ruth’s website to see her full range of embroidered treasures.

If you are interested in me doing some homeware product photography for you, then please do get in touch.

In other news, the children and I are venturing out today in the heat, to visit East Ruston Old Vicarage Gardens.  Lola was lucky enough to visit this week with a friend, and said the gardens were incredible.  So I’m going to get her to show us around!  Apparently there are hydrangeas, a Mediteranean garden, succulents….as always I’ll have my trusty camera with me, so I’ll take some photos to share with you here.
