Still Life of Dahlias And Vintage Linens

Hello everyone!

I hope you are having lovely weekend.  We are off on our holiday tomorrow, to Pevensey Bay.  This is the fourth year in a row we have made our little journey down there, and I’m so looking forward to making some seaside memories with the children again!  Bucket and spade, collecting shells, listening to the sea, eating ice creams.  Probably dodging the rain too, judging by the British weather it at the moment!

I’ve just gathered these blooms from the front garden.  It really does seem to be be true with dahlias that the more you keep cutting them, the more you encourage new flowers.  My kind of flower!  I’m also loving these rustic linens I’ve collected over the past few years.  I’m keen to track down some more to make some napkins from, so if anyone knows were I can find some vintage French linen then please do let me know!

I’m off to shoot some gorgeous crockery I have just received, so please do keep an eye out for that this week – enjoy the rest of your day!
