Halloween Decorating – Fabric Pumpkins

Hello everyone!

I thought I’d share some of my Halloween decorating with you – the children have been on half term this week, so the time has slipped away with me a little, and by the time I came to shoot this yesterday the light was already fading!   Anyway, I dug out my trusty homemade pumpkins made from leftover fabrics many years ago for this little vignette (see this post here with instructions on how to make them).  I also used more of my chalk painted white mini pumpkins, and I found the seed heads on our walk in the woods yesterday.  On the other side of this room there are of course the obligatory plastic spiders, cobwebs and big skeletons, and the children decorated the mirrors with spooky chalk pens doodles!

We went to a really fun Halloween party last night, where all the adults and children dressed up, danced and had a good giggle.  Later we will try some pumpkin carving, and light lots of little lanterns for a cosy night in.  I hope you have a fun Halloween weekend!
