Hello everyone!

Last Friday I had the pleasure of driving to Southwold to meet fellow blogger and Instagrammer, Lucy from Lucy Loves Ya Blog.  It’s always so nice to finally meet online friends in real life, and we picked a gorgeously sunny day for it.  We had a wander from the pier up into town, where we stopped for tea and cake.  Then we had a mini photo walk down onto the sea front where we chatted and wandered whilst we snapped away at the gorgeous candy hued pastel beach huts.  I know I post pictures from Southwold a couple of times of year, but I think there are some things you can’t tire of seeing!  Especially when the sky is cornflower blue.  We had a brilliant chat and I left feeling super inspired.  I think that as a creative person, it really does help to talk through ideas face to face with a fellow creative person.  It was wonderful to get out, breathe the sea air, and to fill my camera roll with pretty pictures.

I am sat writing this in not so sunny Skegness, where I am assisting on photographic shoot for a holiday park company!  I feel like a bit of a nomad at the moment, it’s a wonderful thing to see a different part of the country from week to week.  On Saturday I travelled down to Oxford where Annie Sloan (the creator of Chalk Paint) ran a workshop for a handful of interiors bloggers.  I had an absolutely brilliant day, and will be posting about the day over the next week, so do pop back.

It’s not long until our Derby Decorative Vintage Styling Workshop, and there are still tickets left, so please do come and join Katie and I for a gorgeous day of playing with pretty vintage props and flowers!  Fellow blogger Naomi over at Finding Beauty Everywhere has written a feature about my home, and is also running a competition to win a place on mine and Katie’s workshop on Saturday 11th April, so head over and enter for a chance to win a place!

M dear parents are coming up to stay for a few days on Thursday so we can make a start on the allotment!  I’ll take some snaps so I can share our progress with you.

Tamsyn x
