Sunday Ramblings

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!

It’s been a busy week here, hence the radio silence.  Last week I had the pleasure of styling a Christmas shoot for Reclaim Magazine, photographed by my friend and fellow blogger, Janice Issitt.  The brief was to style up Christmas using rich colours, and reclaimed/vintage finds, so of course I was in my element.  I can’t wait to share the feature with you once the festive season is upon us.

I managed to find a few blackberries the other week to sprinkle on my porridge – normally the heath near my house is heavily laden with blackberries, but I think the drought over August meant that the hedges were sparse.

I’m off to London today for an event which is part of Red Magazine’s Smart Women Week.  It’s a series of small classes, one of which is going to be someone from Farrow & Ball talking about how colour in our home can make us feel happy, which I’m really looking forward to.  I’ll let you know how I get on with my little adventure!
