On Friday morning I had to buy some flowers, for some content I was shooting for a brand. I dropped the children off at school before heading to the market (I may have slipped into a coffee shop en route as a little treat!).
bought these roses as a root way back at the beginning of 2014. I'd just moved into our new home, and I remember buying it very cheaply (a few pounds!) from my local supermarket.
I've barely been at home the last couple of weeks what with being away on shoots (am sat in Camber Sands writing this!), and squeezing in a quick trip to London to see one of my dear friends.
It's a picture heavy post today, as I'm sharing these snaps I took at our Decorative Vintage Styling Workshop in Derby last Saturday.
I picked these roses from the garden a couple of weeks ago. As I am sure I have said before, I think that to being able to gather a bunch of blooms from your own garden is one of life's simplest and loveliest pleasures.
I posted this shot on my Instagram last week, and I couldn't resist taking more shots on my big camera.
