I have taken a long hiatus from blogging, but this is me dipping my toe back into my tiny little corner of the internet. I feel ready now to come back and share again...I do hope that if there is anyone still reading this, that you will join me!
Today I'm sharing some snaps taken over the last week or so of my beloved hydrangeas.
A couple of weeks ago, on what was perhaps the hottest day of the year here in Norfolk, the children and I went to explore the beautiful gardens at East Ruston Old Vicarage.
My hydrangeas are in full bloom, and I thought I'd share some snaps with you today. Of course nothing beats seeing them in the flesh, especially at dusk when they seem to glow with a lavender haze.
I took these snaps a few weeks ago, when I was in the garden cutting hydrangeas for my Styling The Seasons post. I bought this wonderfully chippy and rustic garden chair from a car boot sale recently, and it sits perfectly on my summer house verandah.
