I just wanted to share these cosy photos I took the other day. Nothing soothes the soul quite like candle light, and it's something that is getting me through these winter days.
Today I'm sharing some snaps of the kitchen teacup chandelier, who has not only been cleaned (it was pretty grimy!), but has also been given a makeover.
Some snaps from back in June, when the peonies were still plentiful...although these weren't from my garden, for the first time ever my Sarah Bernhardt peony had three blooms on it.
I want to share these images with you that I took a few weeks ago, of these blooms I bought on the market. Does anyone else find that faffing with flowers is a tonic for the soul?
It's so lovely to be back home after my little Lincolnshire jaunt. Today I am catching up with the usual household chores and getting ready for my parents who are arriving this afternoon.
