I wanted to share these pics with you that I took at the beginning of June, of these glorious vintage enamel vessels - teapots and jugs in divine shades of green and turquoise.
So I completed my challenge of posting every day this week, and I'm so pleased! It was important to me to get back into the habit of it.
I am lucky enough to have a small space down the end of my garden that I have been gradually been turning into a little retreat for a spot of alfresco dining. Under the apple tree and next to my summerhouse, there is a space a few meters square.
bought these roses as a root way back at the beginning of 2014. I'd just moved into our new home, and I remember buying it very cheaply (a few pounds!) from my local supermarket.
I picked these roses from the garden a couple of weeks ago. As I am sure I have said before, I think that to being able to gather a bunch of blooms from your own garden is one of life's simplest and loveliest pleasures.
An abundance of roses left over from a shoot that took place at my house meant that I had all these pretty blooms to play with.
