I'm sharing the second of my Reclaim features with you today. This one was from Issue 20, and I love the rustic touches that I was able to play around with in this one!
For some reason I've felt ultra inspired today, which is strange as I've actually felt pretty jaded all day! Isn't it funny how creativity and ideas come and go in surges?
I had a precious couple of days spare with the children last week, so we decided to go exploring. It's good to fuel young imaginations, and my two are particularly into fairy tales, mystery stories and tales from the past. So we decided to go to a big old house, and make our own fairy tales!
One of my favourite pictures from this collection, is the last one. This was formerly a bit of a dumping ground to the side of my summerhouse, with a crumbling flint wall at the back. Last year my Dad and I repaired the wall (in the rain largely, it was not an enjoyable experience!), and I gradually cleared the rubbish and clutter.
So, as many of you read, a few weeks ago I was dealing with a bit of a creative burnout. Stats, figures, follower count - it was all taking a toll on my creativity.
