Upcycled Daybed in the Summerhouse

Hello everyone!
Day two of my ‘blog every day for a week’ challenge that I’ve set myself, and here are some snaps of the summerhouse, peeking through the apple tree. I upcylced our old sofa to make this daybed – I hacked the back and arms off it, which basically left a spring base, which seemed too good to get rid of completely. Once the cushions were back on it, I simply layered it up with some eiderdowns and a vintage French sheet. It’s a lovely spot to sit and ponder, sometimes with a Pimms! I’m looking forward to layering the bed up even more in September and taking a more Autumnal cosy spot, maybe even with some candles.
