Vintage Bathroom Tiles

Hello everyone!

I’ve posted about my search vintage tiles for my bathroom before, and although my radar for ceramic prettiness is here to stay, I do technically have enough tiles to make a splashback behind my sink.  I’ve now got to decide whether I make a two tile height splashback, or whether I tile them as I have currently placed them – lined up along the panelling.  I also have to learn how tile!  It can’t be that difficult can it?!  The pressure is on a little as I can’t afford to take any mistakes with these tiles.  It’s taken  a long time to build up this little collection from antique fairs, eBay and vintage shops.  I knew I wanted an eclectic mix, and although most of them are Victorian or Edwardian, I have thrown a couple of 1970’s retro wildcards in there for a truly bohemian look.

In other news, I have two festive shoots that I’m styling, one this week and another at the beginning of October.  It seems so surreal to be getting boxes of decorations down form the attic when we only had a heatwave last week, but I’m looking forward to making some beautiful images!

Have a wonderful day!
